I’ve been using BlogJet 1.6.2 to post to this blog and others whenever I’m working on my Windows XP machine. It’s a reliable, stable, if bare-bones product. On my Mac, I’ve been using Ecto. It’s got some features that are different from BlogJet. I’ve been waiting for a stable new release of both apps that allowed me to post here and to my other blog. BlogJet 2.0, out today, apparently has that feature. Anyone given BlogJet 2.0 a whirl yet?
I’m downloading and installing it now so, if all works out well, this will be my last post using BlogJet 1.x.
Yep. I tried. Good enough 🙂

P.S. Thanks for your comment! BTW, I use ecto on my Mac as well.
No experience with either, sorry.
Am I reading that wrong or do you have two blogs? If so, what is the other one?

Hey Dmitry — while you're here — how come no Mac version of BlogJet?
And, so far, so good with BlogJet 2.0 — already some improvements I could suggest:
I love the the “Group Post” function. This lets me post with one click to two or more blogs. But — unless I'm missing something — I can't designate “default” categories to post to. In my case, I've got two blogs and each one has a different set of categories. It would be great if I could designate a default set of categories for each blog so that when I “group post”, the new post is automatically slotted into each default category at the different blogs.
The new interface is very nice … nice job, overall …
