That doesn’t look anything like any Lee Enfield .303 rifle that I’ve ever seen or used. Could be the reporter in this case doesn’t know a Lee Enfield from a .22 Cooey … or perhaps the original Lee Enfield has been modified for use by our northern Rangers … in which case it would likely make a better story than yet another P.M. photo op.
Gotta have faith … but it’s tough sometimes.
