In new ad, Kathleen Wynne asks: Is Andrea Horwath for real?

Here’s the latest ad to hit the Ontario election campaign trail. It’s from the Liberals and that’s the voice of Liberal leader and premier Kathleen Wynne jumping on Andrea Horwath for failing to support the Liberal budget.

If you haven’t yet seen it, you might wish to watch Andrea Horwath’s speech explaining why she rejected the Liberal budget. She said it was “not a solid plan for the future” and was, in fact, “a mad dash to escape the scandals.” Watch here:

Now,you might think the Liberal question is a rhetorical one. But as we saw from some documents leaked a month ago to The Globe and Mail, the Liberals consider the NDP to be the greatest threat to their re-election chances.

So, take the poll Wynne wants you to take:

  1. Well I will vote for NDP not unlike I have done before. If for no other reason in the hopes there is a minority government with some direction to get us out of debt, and stop continually raising taxes, and selling the country off with the deceit of balancing the budget?????

  2. I think that it is quite possible that Andrea Horwath said no to Liberal mismanagement of these programs, not the programs themselves. No one trusts the Wynne government. It is time for the Liberals to show some contrition for their many sins. This is a sad election where the people of Ontario can only vote for the least worst option.

  3. Andrea horwath is for the other 8 million people who don’t live in the GTA. Because we exist too.
