  1. Bizarre, pretentious, overbearing.
Everything that most modern news consumers hate about old-style media: An image-branding/logo, etc that screams: We're big and important, you better listen to us.
    What's with the floating provinces?

  2. Too Americanized. It reminds me of the right-wing Faux News. We need more journalism like the CBC with balance

  3. “We need more journalism like the CBC with balance”
May I make a correction? I'm sorry, but it appears to be an addiction of mine … your sentence should read:
“We need more journalism like the CBC, BUT with balance.”
    There, now it's OK.

  4. I like the music and the graphics.
I disagree with everything Anonymous @ 7:57 PM said … except (s)he has a point: why the floating provinces at the end?
Why not have the SUN shine its light upon the map of Canada at the very end?
    I know, I know, everybody's a critic!

  5. I like the music.
The overall logo is nice. Not crazy about the floating provinces. I didn't even know what they were at first. I thought they were floating ice glaciers, which made no sense at all. I'd lose the floating provinces.

  6. I just hope Sun News is here when the election is on. I can't imagine a better raitings boost to a birthing news station then begining 24 hours news coverage of an election!

  7. I think that if the way your blog posts & reporting have been compromised by your relationship with Sun is any indication it will be a truly vile addition to Canadian television.

  8. “Give us 3 minutes and we'll give you the world.”
    Robo-cop news comes to Canada.
    Tacky and kitschy beyond belief
