Hey David,
I understood the reasons for his ejection also had to do with breaking Caucus confidentiality and speaking out on possible budget items. Seems to me Garth's negative comments in the past were also aimed at other colleagues and not just the Prime Minister.
Was it not the Ontario Caucus which brought forward the motion and the PMO apparently was not aware beforehand.
These are just a few little tidbits which round out the story. I 'm always a bit cautious about making martyrs out of people.
Garth does make good news but I thought his job was to govern.
Thanks David,
I know this is your Blog and not a newswire but I'm always a little sensitive to headline type quick notes. (Smile)
Keep up the good work.
And the site is now down. Coincidence? I think not.

Jean — You're quite correct. I'm busy trying to do some more reporting on this this afternoon but my colleagues at CTV.ca have a good file up with some more background. [Linke at: <a href="http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20061018/turner_suspended_061018/20061018?hub=TopStories ]
