AutoBlog lists the 10 ten worst-selling vehicles in America for 2011 and two of them — including the worst-seller — are from Honda’s Acura brand.
The Honda ZDX — an ugle son-of-a-gun if you ask me — sold just over 1,000 units in America last year. That vehicle is assembled at Honda’s Alliston, Ont. plant. Don’t think any of the other lousy sellers in are assembled in Canada but, given the integration of the North American auto industry, the odds are Canadian companies have the contracts for some of the parts for these dogs.
Also notable on this list: Just one — the Cadillac Escalade EXT — is assembled by what used to be known as the Detroit 3. Asian-based manufacturers dominate the list with Honda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Suzuki, Mazda, Hyundai, and Subaru all notching lousy sellers.
