How weird is this. Ever since news broke that Sinclair Broadcasting had ordered its 62 stations in the U.S. to pre-empt regular programming a couple of nights before the U.S. presidential election in order to show an documentary that casts Democratic nominee John Kerry in a bad light, I've been saying that I hope a guy like Michael Moore calls his bluff.
Moore — I was just saying this afternoon — should offer Sinclair his move Fahrenheit 9-11 — a movie which shows George W. Bush in a bad light — for free. Sinclair could make a lot of money, of course, showing Moore's blockbuster movie.
Well, a few minutes ago on The Tonight Show, Moore announced to Jay Leno he'd do just that. Sinclair can show 9-11 for free, Moore said.
