Last October, we reported that Canada was buying as many as 100 surplus tanks. The next day Department of National Defence officials rushed out to say, no, no, CTV had got it all wrong and that DND had no plans to buy surplus tanks.
Today, the Department of National Defence announced it will buy 100 surplus tanks.
