Matt Grant — Calgary Confederation (Alberta) Twitter : @MattAGrant Previously a community organizer, Matt Grant is a graduate of University of Calgary Law School, and is currently an associate at the law firm of Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer. Before deciding to pursue a legal career, Matt worked with a number of national, provincial, and local associations. He has volunteered with organizations such as Pro Bono Canada and Student Legal Assistance in Calgary. These experiences have led him to pursue his current volunteer work with Calgary Legal Guidance. Matt has also served as the executive assistant to provincial MLAs Craig Cheffin and Kent Hehr. Matt is currently the Director of the West Hillhurst Community Association and has been active within the Bridgeland-Riverside Community Association. He also serves as a director with HomeFront Calgary, a non-profit organization committed to ending domestic.
Marc Miller — Ville-Marie (Québec) Twitter : @MarcMillerVM Marc grew up in Montreal and graduated from McGill University in Common Law and Civil Law. He currently practices mergers and acquisitions at Stikeman Elliott, with a focus on international and commercial law, having also worked in both Stockholm and New York City. He also holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Political Science from Université de Montréal. Marc has been involved in several charitable and pro bono legal initiatives and served in the Canadian Armed Forces as an infantry section commander. Marc has also authored articles on constitutional and human rights law and he has been active within the Liberal Party for many years.
Michael Levitt — York-Centre (Ontario) Twitter : @LevittMichael Michael Levitt is the Liberal candidate for the riding of York Centre. He currently serves as a partner and as Vice President of Business Development for the Benjamin Group, as well as President of Benjamin’s Landmark Monuments. Over the years, Michael has demonstrated his passion and dedication to both his community and his country. He is a founding member of the Canadian Jewish Political Affairs Committee, a multi-partisan organization dedicated to activating the grassroots Jewish community in the political process. Michael also sits on the board of directors for the Koffler Centre of the Arts and the Jewish National Fund, as well as the Board of Governors of Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. He is also a member of the Bathurst Manor Action Group and a number of other local community organizations. A lifelong Liberal and dedicated volunteer, Michael has worked on campaigns federally, provincially, and municipally; he has served as a long-time campaign chair, community organizer, and party fundraiser.
Pablo Rodriguez — Honoré-Mercier (Quebec) Pablo Rodriguez is well known and highly appreciated in his riding. He has distinguished himself through his involvement with numerous organizations within the community. His proximity to the residents of his riding, demonstrated by his involvement with organizations like the Optimist Club and the Knights of Columbus, allows him to identify and understand the priorities of his constituents. A respected political figure, he was the MP for Honoré-Mercier from 2004 to 2011. During this period he held many important roles, including the official spokesperson for culture, languages , economic development, and the Francophonie. He also chaired the Quebec Liberal caucus for several years. Pablo is known for the battles he led in the fight against climate change and for the protection and promotion of culture, language, and minority rights. Today, he works in the environmental sector.
Marie-Josée Normand — Montmagny—L’Islet—Kamouraska—Rivière-du-Loup (Quebec) Twitter : @NormandJosee Marie-Josée Normand is a native of Montmagny. As a professional actress, she completed her theater studies in 1995. She has played several leading roles, both on television and in theater. Outside of her professional work, Marie-Josée has made numerous artistic, social, and economic contributions to her community. Marie-Josée first got a taste of political life as a teenager, having been raised by the Hon. Dr. Gilbert Normand, a well-known politician in the Montmagny area. In 2011, hoping for new challenges, Marie-Josée made a career change. She is now a financial security advisor, helping her clients develop scenarios to achieve their financial goals. I will not vote Liberal because of Trudeau excluding people who wanted to run for the Liberal party but are told not to apply if they
will not vote for abortion. What about all the rest of us women who do not believe in this. Are our MP’s not representing us also.
